(i) 50,0000 = 5.0 x 100000 = 5.0 x 105
(ii) 48,30,000 = 4.83 x 1000000 = 4.83 x 106
(iii) 3,94,00,00,00,000
= 3.94 x 100000000000
= 3.94 x 1011
(iv) 30000000 = 3.0 x 10000000 = 3.0 x 107
(v) 180000 = 1.8 x 100000 = 1.8 x 105

Distance of the sun from the (RBSESolutions.com) earth is approximately 15,00,00,00 km. Express this distance in scientific notations.
Solution:
Distance of earth from sun = 15,00,00,000 km
∴ Scientific expression = 1.5 x 100000000 km
= 1.5 x 108 km

A person gets 3000 calorie energy from his daily meal. Represent (RBSESolutions.com) in scientific notations, how much energy he will get in one year.
Solution:
Calories received daily = 3000 calories
∴ Calories received during 365 days = 3000 x 365 calories
=1095000 calories
∴ Scientific expression = 1.095 x 106 calories.
