Question
Find the following (RBSESolutions.com) sum using:
(a) SankJan Vyavakalnabhyam and Poornapoornabhyam:
(i) 282 + 718 + 796 + 524+ 804+ 376
(ii) 52 + 136 +48 + 64
(iii) 135 + 248 + 322 + 65
हल:
(i) (a) (200 + 82) + (800 – 82) + (800 – 4) + (800 +4) + (500 + 24) + (400 – 24)
= 200 + 800 + 800 + 800 + 500 + 400
= 3500
(b) 282 + 718 + 796 + 524 + 804 + 376 = (282 + 718) + (796 + 804) + (524 + 376)
= 1000 + 1600 + 900 (Try to make multiples of 10)
= 3500
(ii) (a) 52 + 136 + 48 + 64 = (50 + 2) + (50 – 2) + (100 + 36) + (100 – 36)
= 50 + 50 + 100 + 100 = 300
(b) (136 + 64) + (52 + 48)
= 200 + 100 + 300
(iii) (a) (100 + 35) + (100 – 35) + (320 + 2) + (250 – 2)
= 100 + 100 + 320 + 250 = 770
(b) 135 + 248 + 322 + 65
= (135 + 65) + (248 +322)
= 200 + 570
= 770
