The Brahmaputra River gets bigger during the summer because of the melting snow from the Himalayas. In summer, the temperatures rise, causing the snow and ice in the mountains to melt and flow into the river. This extra water makes the river swell and increases its flow. So, unlike some rivers that might dry up, the Brahmaputra receives more water during this time, making it larger.
