Question 1.
If you were Nachiketa, what questions would you like to ask Yama? Write them down in 100-150 words. Class 6
Answer:
If I were Nachiketa, I would have many questions for Yama, the god of death. First, I would ask, “What happens after we die? Do we go to a special place?” I would also want to know, “Why do people have to die? Is it part of a bigger plan?” Another question would be, “Can we come back to life, or is it lost forever?” What is death? Why do people die? Is there any way to escape death? Can anyone delay death? Is there any way to stop death? What is reason of death? Is death reversible? What are different types of death? Who never dies? When death is a good option? Lastly, I would ask, “What is the most important thing we should do while we are alive?” These questions would help me understand life and death better.
Question 2.
Explain a few central ideas of Buddhism. Briefly comment upon them. Class 6
Answer:
Buddhism teaches several important ideas. One central idea is the Four Noble Truths.
The first truth is that life has suffering, which means everyone faces problems.
The second truth is that suffering comes from wanting things we can’t or don’t have.
The third truth says that we can end our suffering by leaving our desires.
The fourth truth is about the Eightfold Path, which is a guide to the way to achieve a release from suffering. It includes being kind, thinking clearly, and making good choices. These ideas help people find peace and happiness.
