Yes, these are non-economic activities because people do them for fun and to celebrate together, not to earn money. They hold value because they bring the community together, create happiness, promote cultural heritage, celebrate tradition and strengthen friendships.

Can you identify community programmes that have been undertaken by your school or in your locality? What did you observe during these programmes? Class 6

Answer:

Our school has a program where we help plant trees in the local park. I observed that many students and teachers participated. It give a sense of togetherness, responsibility, team work and self-satisfaction. It help the environment and we learned about the importance of trees for our community.
