Question 1.
On your way to school, you and your friends notice that a water pipe is leaking. A lot of water is being wasted on account of the leak. What would you and your friends do in such a situation? Class 6
Answer:
If my friends and I noticed a leaking water pipe on our way to school, we would first make sure that it is safe to approach the leakage point. Then, we would find a way to report the leakage of water to the local authorities. This could be done by calling the municipal office or using a mobile app if our city has one for reporting issues. We could also ask a nearby adult for help in reporting it.
We would tell other students and teachers at school about the leak so that more people are aware of it. This way, they can also help in reporting it if they see it.
After reporting it, we could check back in a few days if the problem was fixed. If it wasn’t, we would report it again to make sure it gets the attention it needs.
