Question 1.
What is your favourite festival and how is it celebrated in your region? Do you know whether it is celebrated in any other part of India, maybe under a different name? Class 6

Answer:
My favorite festival is Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights. In my region, we celebrate it by decorating our homes with colourful lights and diyas (oil lamps). We also make sweets and share them with friends and neighbours. People burst firecrackers and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
I know that Diwali is celebrated in many other parts of India. For example, in some places, it is called Deepawali, and the way people celebrate can vary, like the types of sweets made or the rituals performed.
