Solution:
Do as directed. Draw line segments as shown. Each angle at is 60°. So, angle at each vertex on the circle is 60°.

Draw a line l and mark a point P anywhere outside the line. Construct a perpendicular to the given line l through P. [Hint : Find a line segment on l whose perpendicular bisector passes through P.] Class 7
Solution:
With centre P, construct an arc with suitable radius to intersect l at A and B. With A and B as centre draw two equal arcs to intersect each other at Q.
Join PQ which is perpendicular to l.
