My town is located in a plain. Plains are flat areas with very little elevation change. In my surroundings, I see features like:
River: There is a river nearby that provides water for irrigation, houses and factories. In this river, many festivals, ceremonies and rituals are conducted. I also enjoy boating and people use to travel from one place to another.
Open fields: The soil is rich and good for growing crops. Large areas of land are used for farming and growing various crops.
Few hills: While mostly flat, there are some gentle hills at the distance.

Let us go back to our initial trip from Chhota Nagpur to Prayagraj and Almora. Describe the three landforms you came across on the way. Class 6

During the trip from Chhota Nagpur to Prayagraj and Almora, we encountered three different landforms:
Chhota Nagpur: It is a plateau area having landform that rises up from the surrounding land and has a more or less flat surfaces. Some of its sides are often steep slopes. The climate is generally cooler, and there are forests with diverse flora and fauna.
Ganga River Plains (Prayagraj): As we moved towards Prayagraj, we entered the plains formed by the Ganga River. These plains are extensive flat or gently undulating surface. They don’t have any large hills or deep valleys. The major occupations of the people is fishing and agriculture.
Himalayan Region (Almora): Finally, we reached Almora, which is in the foothills of the Himalayas. This area is mountainous, with steep slopes and narrow valleys. The climate is cooler, and the landscape is beautiful, with forests and diverse wildlife.
