  1. Oceans : The largest water bodies on the Earth are called oceans.
  2. The five major oceans are : Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Arctic Ocean and Southern (Antarctic) Ocean.
  3. Continents : Continents are large landmasses.
  4. The seven continents are : Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.

Distribution : The Northern Hemisphere has more land mass and less ocean water than the Southern Hemisphere.
