Solution:

HCF of 306 and 36 = 18.

So, answer is (c).

Question 2.

Find the smallest number that is divisible by 3, 4, 5 and 7, but leaves a remainder of 10 when divided by 11. Class 7

Solution:

LCM of 3, 4, 5 and 7 = 420..

Now, 420 × 6 = 2520 and when 2520 is divided by 11 gives remainder 10.

So, the number is 2520.
