The Baudhayana-Pythagoras Theorem Class 8 Very Short Question Answer

Question 1.

In a right triangle, if one angle is 35°, then find the other two angles.

Solution:

One angle = 90°, the other angle = 180° - 90° - 35° = 55°.

Question 2.

If ∠P of a triangle PQR is 90°, then the square on which side is equal to the sum of the squares on the other sides.

Solution:

Hypotenuse is QR.

So, QR² = PQ² + PR².

Question 3.

Check whether (7, 24, 26) is Baudh¬ayana triple or not.

Solution:

7² + 24² = 49 + 576 = 625

and 26² = 676.

625 ≠ 676

So, (7, 24, 26) is not a Baudhayana triple.
