As a historian, I will study three sources (archaeological, literary and inscriptions).
(i) Archaeological sources:
- Excavations: By studying the ancient cities, we understand their urban planning how people lived, evidence of fortifications.
- Artefacts: Things like pottery indicate how advance is trade and technology.
- Coins: Coins and seals tell the growing trade and administrative practices.
(ii) Literary Sources: Religions texts-late Vedic, Buddhist, and Jain help us to understand political, cultural, religions, structures and social learning.
(iii) Inscriptions: Provide names of rulers, their kingdom laws, victories and religions.
