Solution:
Cost of first buffalo = ₹ [latex]\frac{100}{105}[/latex] × 80000
Cost of second buffalo = ₹ [latex]\frac{100}{90}[/latex] × 80000
Total C.P. = ₹ [latex]\frac{100}{105}[/latex] × 80000 + ₹ [latex]\frac{100}{90}[/latex] × 80000
= ₹ 8000000 [latex]\left(\frac{1}{105}+\frac{1}{90}\right)[/latex]
= ₹ 8000000 [latex]\left(\frac{90+105}{105 \times 90}\right)[/latex]
= ₹ 8000000 × [latex]\frac{195}{105 \times 90}[/latex]
= ₹ 165079.
Total S.P. = ₹ 80000 × 2
= ₹ 160000.
So, overall loss = ₹ 165079 - ₹ 160000
= ₹ 5079 (approx.)
