Solution:

(a) LCM will be a multiple of 3.

(b) LCM will be a multiple of 4.

(c) LCM will be the product of the two numbers.

(d) LCM will be the product of the two co¬prime numbers.

Here are some more numbers where both numbers are multiples of the same number. Find their HCF: Class 7

(a) 18 × 10, 18 × 15

(b) 10 × 38, 10 × 21

(c) 5 × 13, 5 × 20

(d) 12 × 16, 12 × 20

Solution:

(a) 18 × 5 = 90

(b) 10

(c) 5

(d) 12 × 4 = 48.
