Solution:

Let side be x m. So, x × x = 441.

x² = 441 or x = 21 m.

Solution:

LCM of 4, 9 and 10 = 180.

Multiples of 180 are 180, 360, 540, 720, 900, 1080, ...

Out of these, 900 is a perfect square. So, smallest square number divisible by 4, 9 and 10 is 900.

Question 3.

Find the smallest number by which 9408 must be multiplied so that the product is a perfect square. Find the square root of the product. Class 8

Solution:

So, 9408 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2× 2 × 2 × 3 × 7 × 7.

So, the required smallest number is 3.

The square root of the that square number will be 2 × 2 × 2 × 7 × 3 = 168.
